Timett son of Timett at little more than 20 years old is already a war leader of his tribe, the Burned Men.
He got the job at his own rite of passage, a ritual of self-mutilation for the Burned Men, when he gouged out one of his own eyes.

As GRR Martin writes 'Every clan in the Mountains of the Moon feared the Burned Men,(...). And even the other Burned Men feared Timett.
